But as I hit all white keys from low to high, only about every 10th key is recognized by Garage Band. I am not a MIDI expert and was starting to look into this. Disconnect all USB devices from you Mac. Uninstall the Yamaha driver with the uninstaller utility that comes with the Yamaha driver software.
