As to the question about working with Camtasia for Mac and iMovie together, would you mind putting that in a new post? I think a lot of people would be interested in this information, and unfortunately I have no way to fork or split this topic. I'm worried the information would become lost in this thread. The audio that should be heard at the start of the recording, is at the start of the exported file. ![]() And becomes displaced when you line up the majority of the file. The audio 'Overall' comes into sync around 1/3 of a second in. Plus, there's a lot of inconsistency between the 2 wav forms. Drops in volume spikes is where it's visible. The exported file has a lot of them filled in or reduced. Some have been added. It's hard to know how much damage is being done to the original quality. The wave form isn't going to tell you that information and once you've exported it the damage is already done. I did my testing using.trec recordings. Using the latest version of Camtasia 2018. The original audio file is on the bottom. The exported and imported.wav file is on top. I've highlighted some of the more glaring inconsistencys. I took the same recording and placed it in Camtasia 9.
